Toruń, a city in northern Poland on the Vistula (Wisła) river, is one of the oldest cities in Poland. Here in 1473 Nicolaus Copernicus, Polish Renaissance astronomer and mathematician, was born. The medieval part of Toruń is designated as UNESCO World Heritage Site and in 2007 the Old Town was added to the list of Seven Wonders of Poland (a short list of of cultural wonders in Poland). I spent the past weekend in this beautiful city and would like to show you how it looks like – enjoy 🙂

The fountain near the Old Town, I always enjoy watching how water encourages people to play and have fun, especially children 😀
